2 week checkup!

Today Colin had his 2week old checkup with Dr Wiley! I'm so glad Derek's coworkers recommended him, he is so nice and listens to crazy parents like us! Colin is quite the vomitter and seems to have a hard time falling asleep after feeds sometimes, so Dr Wiley started him on Zantac. So far Colin is not too sure about the taste, but he'll suck down anything... Haha :)

Dressed in our thermal...40s today, brrr!

We also are starting to add rice cereal to his pumped breast milk to see if that slows him down when he eats and keeps him more satisfied afterwards. Colin was sweet at the office and ended up pooping 3 times while we were there :) We had quite a smelly room...

Sadly, Derek had to go back to work today. We've had a great 2 weeks together at home getting to know our little son though! It's so different to actually see him on days he goes in at noon since I was usually at work! Luckily he gets to hang out with us for a few hours each day :)

Colin focuses on Derek so well and follows his voice across the room...pretty dang cute :)

 

Once Derek left we hung out like bums...I tried to sleep while Colin did, but I lasted about 30 min each time...I stink at naps. Still doing ok with my 1-2 hr naps through the night, although I know it's bound to catch up with me. By the way, daytime tv is aweful! 

 

 

This boy is serious about his food!!
