Good times!

We've had a fun and busy week! We spent most of the weekend through Tuesday working on the house. Mostly outdoor work and picking out paint colors. Tuesday night we met up with Ross, Laura, Graeme, and Morgan at Little Donkey. Colin ate some queso and cheese quesadilla then decided he needed to jump wildly on Ross for a while :)

 

 

Wednesday the floor people started at the new place so after going to see which color we liked best (went with dark walnut) we got kicked out for the rest of the week. So we did a lot of swimming and furniture shopping this week :) I got to catch up with Kate at Surin Tuesday which was great! So glad to get to see her more often now! Wednesday lunch we spent with Kathy Jo. She was like a substitute mom to me, sister, and our friends at UAB and we all miss seeing her. Forgot to get a picture of her and Colin :( I'm sure we'll see her again soon though!

 

Colin is loving our evening routine of running the neighborhood, walking Kirby, and going to the pool. He splashes like crazy!

 

Wednesday night we kept Mason so Noah and Chelsea could have a date night to celebrate Noah's birthday. Can't believe my baby brother is 24!!! And has an adorable boy!!! So glad we got to keep him.

He has the BEST fake cry and just kept looking at the toy, up at me, and screaming (no crying and no tears). Oh dear.

 Thursday I met up with Keshia and Alicia in Atlanta for a girls trip! It was Alicia's 27th birthday!! We spent all day shopping at Ikea and Atlantic Station. Got some good house stuff. Then we went to Cheesecake Factory (yum) for dinner and stayed a hotel downtown. It was so nice to have a day baby-free :) Thanks Derek!

 

 

 

 

 

Derek did man things- pool, walking to the river, errands, and deer watching!!

I was pretty ready to see this little snuggler today!! He's gotten real snuggly lately which is nice and new, haha. I got back in time to go see our new floors (so pretty!!) and go for a run and pool trip with my men. Pretty nice week!
