Derek had his 'final' graduation yesterday :) It's hard to believe that after 11 years of school and training that it's really over! It was a great ceremony and we were happy to have some family come to celebrate with us!
They had a nice ceremony to recognize each resident's hard work. Derek had to present awards and did a great job. He got a few awards and I wasn't surprised at all to hear all the amazing things they said about him...he is such a hard worker and doesn't require constant attention/praise for it. He really is so humble about all he does there. He has been an amazing chief resident. He got a chief award, the clinical award, and the peer award. Everyone in his class voted him the top resident. They always tell me how great he is at work and helpful to everyone. I'm such a proud wife!! I know Derek is so glad he's done and has 5 weeks to play before his job starts!!
Residents with Sudave (program director) and Velvet (program coordinator)
The wives (plus Bernadette ;))
So so proud of all these great people!
Today the group rented a double decker pontoon boat and hit the lake! Colin got to play with Doozie and Nana all day, he had a great time :) We had so much fun and it was a great last activity all together before people move! They have truly become our Chattanooga family and we'll miss them all, even if we get on each others nerves once in a while ;)

Looking forward to spending 1 last week with everyone before we move!
