Colin's happiest time of the day is the morning. Doesn't get that from me. It used to be his fussy hours and we would have to pace forever and eventually go outside to keep from waking Derek up. Now he prefers to fuss all afternoon, which is fine by me! I enjoy waking up with a happy baby in the morning! He has a hard time sleeping past 6-7 and is ready to leave his dark room. He is usually not hungry yet and is content just looking outside and playing with his hands. He's super smiley in the AM too! Hopefully we can stretch this happy time throughout the rest of the day eventually!!

He keeps us laughing even though we are exhausted from keeping him entertained all day...we call him our 'strong-willed baby', I don't know why I would expect anything different from 2 type A parents ;) He definitely runs this house right now!
