Someone's awake!!

This past week Colin has been so awake! Sometimes that equals cranky, but most of the time it's very cute and fun. He's finding his voice and laid beside Derek yesterday for almost 45 minutes talking and looking around.

 

 

I also took him to work yesterday for Tina's going away party. He just sat on my lap and checked everyone out for about an hour. He's getting really good with his head control.

 

Dr. Moyer finally got to hold him :)

 

Last night Colin decided it would be fun to stay up from midnight on :) At least he has some really cute facial expressions and is snuggly!

 

I sometimes selfishly un-do his swaddle at feeds so that he holds my finger the whole time :) Such a ham!

 

Today I had to bake 8 dozen lemon cookies for a cookie swap with resident wives. Due to total lack of sleep last night I'm sending my cookies with our neighbor so I can head to bed before 7pm tonight with Derek being home :) Colin was having his usual long awake morning session, so I just wore him while I worked! He went to sleep instantly:)

Everyone around here has been sick, so glad Derek's not in the ER this month! We are staying cooped up this weekend!
