Christmas parties!

It's the week of Christmas parties!!

 

I went to my work's party yesterday with Colin while Derek was helping do resident interviews. Colin was too cute sitting on everyone's lap for the 2 hours we were there. It was nice to see all my work friends again! In general getting out of the house is great, just a little time consuming when I'm on my own. He's doing better in the car seat though and is happier wherever we go....as long as he doesn't have to sit in the car seat. High maintenance man ;)

Today we had Derek's work party. Its been fun to dress him up in all his cute clothes now that we leave the house more! He was precious again and we have come to realize this boy just likes to be out and about. He loves people watching. He has a great nap when we come home too :)

We are working on napping outside of his nursery. So far he is pretty good at napping in his swing and on our bed when I'm getting ready in the morning. I just don't push the noon nap anymore. That's when we've been out and about and he has done well with staying awake. Hoping this helps him stretch longer at night eventually!!

 

Went back to spin for the first time tonight. Ouch. Felt great to see my spin friends again and get out of the house on my own. I have a good amount of pounds to shed still; not easy during the holiday season!! haha.

 

 

We officially wrapped our last Christmas present today! Felt great to have them all done and under the tree! Ready to celebrate with family! Just waiting on our Christmas cards to come so we can mail them out! It's our first year doing one!

 

I just have to add this pic- this guy's right foot has 2 twisted toes and I just love it, haha.
