We've been living at the park lately and it's getting more fun as this little one is getting more interactive! He loves swinging and crawling through everything now. He's getting used to the slides and Colin likes to help him and show him around.
Baby geese! Connor's been eating a banana almost every day!
"I got you Connor, hang on tight!" Peek a boo!!
Poor Daddy, ha... Connor is almost off bottles! He's loving whole milk!
I found Connor's birthday present on an online yardsale and so Derek cleaned it up and put it together last week and it was a big hit! Of course Colin thinks it's his present :)
We locked them out and they were very happy about it
Swim morning at the gym. Both boys had a blast!
Friday began wedding festivities for Ross and Laura. Derek's parents came down to keep the boys so I could join Derek at the rehearsal dinner. We all went to the park Saturday morning before Derek had to go do groomsmen duties. The rain thankfully held off and it was a good day for a wedding! We got to stay at the new Grand Bohemian downtown after the wedding and it was a gorgeous hotel. It was a fun night of dancing with my love and we got to sleep in a bit and eat breakfast with the newlyweds before heading back home. Thanks Doozie and Nana for keeping the boys, I know they had a blast :)
Yummy rehearsal dinner
Park fun
Following big bro, he's an expert at the slide now :)
Peek a boo with Nana
Sneaking some watermelon! The boys loved all the attention this weekend!
The only pic I got of Derek, ha. Here comes the bride!
Ross surprised Laura with a "second line". She loves New Orleans and this is what everyone does there. We walked around the block with a jazz band, so fun!
My sweet wedding date for life :)
Tradition with Ross's friends is to bring out the American flag and sing "God bless America"
We enjoyed a night away and it was a fun wedding, but we were very ready to get back to our babies Sunday. Colin hasn't let me out of his site since we came back, he just does not love me being gone. So it's been an interested last 2 days with his clingy self. We had a fun family night and went to dinner and shopped some.
Sweet daddy time. Had to go by "daddy's store" to check out all the bikes, slides, and riding toys. We go there so often for diapers and such that Colin knows where all his favorite toys are. Connor enjoyed testing out toys too. They just walked car to car playing for a while then hit up the train section.
Panera is a favorite! Broccoli soup and grilled cheese for the win! At the end Colin decided to eat his apple at the booth next to us by himself, haha.
Colin walking in my wedges. He did the whole 1st floor like a pro, ha. These 2 are a hoot. Colin had a much better swim lesson today and got to go down the pool slide a few times for listening to his teacher so well!
