*CAP is 1*

Our baby 'finale' turned one yesterday!! And what a funny baby he is :) He is a silly boy and loves being around people so much. He is definitely my mini me. He's got my big head and doesn't want to miss out on anything social. We had his 1 year appointment today and he did great with his shots and Dr. Soong said he looked great!

 

He is 21.2lbs (47%) and 31.25in (93%). His head is 90%. He is wearing 9-12 month clothes and finally some shoes since he spends most of his time cruising around. He'll stand on his own a lot but no real walking yet. He's a fast crawler and likes playing chase. He's a climber and loves climbing up any slide. He has 6 teeth with 2 more on the way. He loves almost all foods, even spicy foods. The only thing I can think of that he doesn't like is potatoes. Colin doesn't like them either. His favorites are still any green veggie, eggs, yogurt, any fruit but especially bananas, goldfish, pizza, any noodle, anything we eat usually. He insists on having his own sucker or Popsicle if he sees Colin with one :)

 

 He follows Colin around all day and mimics things he says now. He says mama, dada, cat cat, yeah (while nodding his head), muah (when we kiss him), uh oh, ba ba (ball ball). He still loves waving and clapping. He hates being left behind and pulls up on our legs reaching those little hands up to be picked up. He loves being on the go whether we are carrying him or he's in the stroller.
 

Throwback to Colin at 1! 

So big! They look more different each month!

 

He sleeps great (7-7 usually) and we're working on getting down to 1 nap. He does so great at the gym and church, unlike Colin at this age, ha. I always got paged to pick up Colin when he wouldn't stop screaming (which was every time!). He's definitely not as strong willed and Colin, but he's got a little temper and shakes those fists at us with a purple face. He may end up being a 'breath holder', haha. He still hates the car seat!
 

His favorite toys are anything Colin has or anything that is not a toy (toothbrush, remote, phone, pens). He loves balls...chasing and throwing them all day if we'd let him. He's got a pretty good throw and loves trying to catch. He loves following the cats and loves on every dog he can get his hands on! He loves crawling all over Derek, he's a tough cookie. He's such a funny, sweet addition to our little family!
