Christmas part 1

Our first Christmas as a family of 4!! We had a nice low key day at home. The boys still don't get most of the hoopla that comes with celebrations and certainly don't understand it's Jesus's birthday so we mostly just enjoyed doing fun activities together and playing. The boys got a new movie, a Christmas book, and new PJs Christmas Eve. We woke up to eat some yummy sausage balls and cinnamon rolls and the fun began. Santa brought the kids 2 presents each and we got Colin a few little things. His absolute favorite was the m&ms in his stocking :) Toddlers are too funny. After all the holiday fun was over this weekend, all he wanted was his Ellie on the couch with a Mickey show, ha. Derek and I did our usual stockings for each other that mostly included candy ;) We did just buy a new bed so we'll call that our gift to each other!

I'm glad Derek caught my sweet boy coming to give momma a big hug. He loves hugging legs at the moment...

The look of trouble..

Getting into his "songs"

"Candies!!" Derek's a teeny excited to teach Colin how to golf ;)

Little man enjoyed his 2 new singing toys! Sweet baby is content with anything :)

After playing with some new stuff in the morning and taking a nap, we put together our gingerbread house. This was a first for Colin and he was excited about it! Mostly eating the toppings :)

Connor was a good spectator while eating some veggies...and his suction toy from Noah and Chelsea!

Then Colin added some humus dip on the side and things got wild...

Sugar high!!

Baby is getting some rolls ;)

We got back home Sunday from Huntsville and showed Colin his gift from us. We're working on our creativity over here, so I'm hoping this gets him going! He seems to love it so far!

Loved my sweet family time! Part 2 next post!
