We've had a busy traveling week again. We just got home and are excited to go to bed early tonight :) Wednesday we woke up and drove up to Chattanooga! It's been too long since we've been up to visit our favorite city and thought the kiddos would like it. We stayed downtown and got to go to some of our favorite restaurants, walk around downtown, go to the aquarium, and see some friends!
Travel boys did great this week in the car and in the hotel. Colin just loves hotel, especially the buttons! Connor did ok at night, but had 2 teeth come through so he woke up more than usual. Those little teeth sure are cute though!
The walking bridge over the river downtown!
Dinner at Brewhaus, a favorite! Colin insists on sitting on the big chairs now, forget those highchairs!
Ice cream at Clumpies on the river was a must!
More hotel fun! He thought it was awesome daddy was sleeping in his room, haha.
Thursday we met up with Julie who did Colin's newborn and 6 month pictures. We wanted some family pictures by the river. She sure did have to work hard to get Colin in the mood, but hopefully we'll get a few good ones! Connor was his usual smiley self :) After pictures we met up with Steve, Keshia, and Alli at the aquarium!
Our 2 photo shoot casualties...Connor fell trying to sit up and bruised his forehead and Derek was flying Colin around and fell on his knee and tore his pants/skinned his knee. They were both troopers about it though ;)
Carousel fun in the park after pics. He could have rode it all day. Occasionally he choses the bench between the animals :)
Colin powered through without a nap all day, he got his second wind at the aquarium. Connor soaked it all up!
Colin was soaked from petting stingrays. Funny how some things (like animals and bugs) don't scare him at all, but other small things freak him out still.
Colin had a blast chasing Alli around!
Sweet friends! Love our visits with them!!
These 2 were precious together and had a cute waffle dinner date ;)
Friday morning we visited Derek's old work and caught up with them for a bit before heading on to Blue Ridge for the weekend. That will be another post, too many pics!!
