Funny boy is changing so much! He's more and more independent everyday and likes things pretty routine around here! He's gotten away with a lot with being sick lately and we've had to take control back, much to his dismay. He's learning fast that we don't play with time out regarding hitting and not listening and that if he doesn't eat what we give him he will have to just wait til next meal. Those have been our big struggles lately. He understands so much more now which is great. He knows he doesn't get a cartoon until he eats and that if he throws things or food, it gets taken away. Definitely a struggle to be consistent all day long, but he's totally getting it and has been such a pleasant kid! He's saying more now- night night (only to dada, ha), bye room, ellie, thank you, water, close, yeah (more than no-yay!). His favorite thing right now is to dump out something (legos, toy basket, change holder) and put it all back one by one while saying thank you each time :) He keeps us running and laughing.

Hot enough to bring out his little water table we've had hidden for a while. I'm hoping this saves us when we're stuck at home this summer :)

Cousin afternoon!

 

C has been so good around others recently. He had a ball when Aunt Jessie came over for dinner, didn't fuss at Uncle Josh at all being carried around, didn't cry last night when I left him with Grace, and didn't even cry when being dropped off at school yesterday (granted, I talked him up saying Ms. Nancy had his snack ready!). So, we're hopeful things are changing around and he'll open up and be his silly self more around our peeps!
