Look like Colin will have his first sick day from school tomorrow! He's only been 2 days!! haha. Might as well get all the bugs we can before winter germs come. We've had a lazy weekend at home. Lots of naps for his sick dude. Poor buddy definitely isn't as playful, we had lots of these germs attack us last winter, but he handles them so much better! He's been sweet and cuddly :)
It was somewhat perfect timing because my parents were already on their way to come visit. Noah and his fam came for the night to stay too. It was nice having company to sit around the house with! We grilled out when Derek got off work Saturday and watched football, of course! Dad was a work horse as always (with Noah as his assistant); he fixed our deck screens, cleaned our patio, washed cars, fixed our stove, painted baby gates, and fixed our garage doors. I'm not sure how he has that much energy on the weekends, but we sure did appreciate it! Us girls put up some paint samples on the walls in Colin's bathroom. I think we've picked one!
Sunday was Grandparents Day...I forgot about that until later that afternoon. Colin has 2 sets of wonderful grandparents!

Aunt Jessie came to visit Sunday too! Derek had his first soccer game last night and they won! Hopefully I'll get to go watch a game soon. Today we went for a recheck on Colin at his pediatrician's office. He was still running a fever of 102 this morning. His ears were dull but no infection and they did a cbc and strep which were neg. So looks like we're doing all we can and it will soon pass. He was a trooper at the doc and slept most of the time.
