Connor in 4D

To add to yesterday's post about Connor at 30+ weeks, today we got to see Connor moving and grooving.  Actually, he mostly protested the ultrasound wand :) Despite my coffee before going in, this kid slept through the whole thing, with his hands and feet in his face of course! It was sweet to watch him on the video though and this kid sure does like to stretch! After lots of rolling around and shaking, we got a few good pics of him. The tech told us this may be our stubborn one...HA. We said that wasn't allowed since we already have one at home ;)

Sweet little face.

Kinda creepy pic, but little C is a mouth open sleeper like his mama and brother :)

He mostly hid behind his hands/feet/placenta :)

Here is a little comparison for fun. Colin definitely has a more round face like his mama. Similar lips and noses. Connor looks more petite :)

He is measuring at 3.6lbs and over 17 inches long. Right on track! Still frank breech (bottom down, feet by head-impressive flexibility right?!). Seeing his little self definitely got us even more excited to meet him in 2 months!

29/30 weeks!

10 or less weeks until we meet Connor! That's so soon!!

He is supposed to be over 3 pounds now and over 17 inches long! He kicks all day long and even when I'm walking around or carrying Colin, which is new to me this time. He is still breech so this girl is running to the bathroom a bunch thanks to dancing feet on my bladder! Still getting around good and doing light exercise 3 times a week.

We still haven't done much to the nursery. We need to go soon to find some wall stuff!

Our sweet neighbors across the street (he's a busy surgeon, they have 4 kids, and she still has amazing energy!) brought over a box of cute stuff for Connor last week :) I also went to a little 'sprinkle' shower hosted by my MOPS group last week. There are 10 new babies this year, so we had games and cake and got a gift. I'm the last remaining pregnant one, so there are lots of new babies at our meetings now :)

We had our appointment today and everything is good and on track! Afterwards we went to Babies R Us to use some rewards cash and coupons. We loaded up on diapers for both boys and got a few things for Little C's room. Everything for newborns is so tiny, I can't believe I've forgotten how little they are already! Tomorrow we have our 4D ultrasound, we are super excited about that!!

Burp cloths Jess helped me make!

Friday favorites!

These 2 pics are exactly 1 year apart! Craziness...those big brown eyes!

Loves his blanket 'pillow' and wants to be laid down like this every night with his 2 animals :)

Park date with dad!!

Big Shot :)

Funny boy is changing so much! He's more and more independent everyday and likes things pretty routine around here! He's gotten away with a lot with being sick lately and we've had to take control back, much to his dismay. He's learning fast that we don't play with time out regarding hitting and not listening and that if he doesn't eat what we give him he will have to just wait til next meal. Those have been our big struggles lately. He understands so much more now which is great. He knows he doesn't get a cartoon until he eats and that if he throws things or food, it gets taken away. Definitely a struggle to be consistent all day long, but he's totally getting it and has been such a pleasant kid! He's saying more now- night night (only to dada, ha), bye room, ellie, thank you, water, close, yeah (more than no-yay!). His favorite thing right now is to dump out something (legos, toy basket, change holder) and put it all back one by one while saying thank you each time :) He keeps us running and laughing.

Pancakes and bacon for dinner get big smiles :)

Hot enough to bring out his little water table we've had hidden for a while. I'm hoping this saves us when we're stuck at home this summer :)

Pedicure date with Marjorie!

Ellie gets such big hugs on our way to school! He definitely has a tender heart!

Cousin afternoon!

C has been so good around others recently. He had a ball when Aunt Jessie came over for dinner, didn't fuss at Uncle Josh at all being carried around, didn't cry last night when I left him with Grace, and didn't even cry when being dropped off at school yesterday (granted, I talked him up saying Ms. Nancy had his snack ready!). So, we're hopeful things are changing around and he'll open up and be his silly self more around our peeps!

*Happy Easter*

Easter was spent low-key this year and that was ok with this tired preggo :) It's nice that they have some good TV church services on these days! Colin has been sick for about 4 days now and so we haven't left the house much. The steroids he got Friday seem to have helped some. Now he's just snotty and not hungry with a fever on and off. Fruit and protein smoothies have saved us! Derek has been on day shift this weekend, never fun to work holidays, but we've gotten to see him some at least!

I did enjoy seeing everyone's Easter pictures on Facebook, so adorable! We did a little Easter basket when Derek got off work. We gave him a few of his favorites- books, mini M&Ms, Reese's cups, and suckers. It's not as fun buying your own Easter candy when you're grown, for some reason those chocolate bunnies don't taste as good when you buy them?! :) But we definitely had our fair share of candy this weekend. Thank goodness I passed my glucose test!

1st mini Cadbury Crème egg was a winner :) Momma's boy! My parents still make sure to get those for me (1/2$ off the next day of course!)

He's definitely too young to understand the real reason for Easter, but I thank Jesus for dying and rising again for my little family and pray that Colin and Connor grow to know Him as they get older! Happy Easter!

Sweet boy, he shared so well with us :)

Company fun!

Spring Break week has been a good one, I still think it's a little funny toddlers have spring break :) Dad and mom came for the weekend and we got to go out for a nice lunch while Grace watched Colin during nap. Then we went and played with everyone at Caitlin's for pizza night! Always fun times getting these 4 kiddos together! That something me and my cousins could do only twice a year! I don't think these kids (or their grandparents) realize how lucky they are to get to see each other so much! Since birth, we only saw our grandparents (and cousins) 2-3 times a year! Thanks Cait for moving back close :)

Everyone loves pizza!!

Colin loves his man time and sucker treats :)

New rug!

Being silly and jumping on Connor one morning!

Lots of outside time...his little slouching self kills me. He knows how to relax ;)

Seth and Jess came over for Italian night and brought homemade Easter cookies, they lasted only 12 hours in this house :) It's her specialty!

The next day Jess came over to sew and we made adorable burp cloths, thanks for the help Jess!!

Apple and cat cat fun!

First skinned knee from going up the driveway refusing help ;)

We had a special treat this week, Keshia and Alli came to stay the night! It was so great to catch up and let the kids play! Alli adores 'baby Colin' and constantly chases him trying to give him his paci and Ellie. She's going to make an awesome big sister! We took the kids to the zoo then had Ellie come during nap and had a girls date to Cheesecake Factory and got manicures! I wish we could hang out every week :(

Girl knows the way to this preggo's heart :) Thank you!

Finally put together the rest of Colin's train table. It took a while but looks good! Now if we can just keep him from tearing it all down!

Block building and tearing down time with dad!

Derek worked on his brewing! I promised if he saved one of this kind, I'd drink it in 11 weeks :) Supportive wife points!

Dinner and a movie for date night!

Couldn't go a month without some type of respiratory illness, so croup it is for April :) Some movies at home and steroids have helped a lot so far!

Suckers from the doc always help!

Second wind tonight after dinner so we went for a long walk:)

Looking forward to a quiet weekend at home while Derek works. I have house projects for days!
