Last day of school & Petersons visit!

Last Wednesday was the boys last day of school! Connor has been having ear troubles the past month. He seemed fine that morning and at drop off, but got the call an hour later that he wouldn't stop crying and felt hot. So he hung with me until Colin's class party. He pepped up for ice cream and after the party we went to our doc for another round of antibiotics! He seems much better this week!

Colin has come so far this year in school! He started out the year crying at drop off and not talking much to the other kids or the teacher. The past few months though, Mrs. Susan says he answers all of the class questions, actually ENJOYS coloring/crafts, and shows off reading his letters and numbers to her. He has enjoyed playing soccer Monday after school and I know he will like Connor joining his soccer practice in the fall! Big C can read all his letters, trace a lot of them, do simple addition/subtraction, and is starting to sound out letters.

The past 2 years of  'First Day of School'

Connor cried at drop off all year, but was happy very soon after and in the last few months has come out of his shell at school. Mrs. Susanne and Mrs. April have been so sweet and patient with him and he loved sitting on their lap anytime they sat down :) He followed directions great and enjoyed all the painting/crafts they did. He knows some of his colors now, counts to 14(?) with skipping a few numbers, and loving singing/dancing to songs. He still loves books and liked that part about school too!

Little C the week he started school last fall---so small and so full of personality!

Ice cream party fun!

Doctor time! Colin loved going there and talking to everyone!

Block building is serious here!

Keshia and her babies came Friday morning and we had a full 3 days of fun! We played at the mall, took dinner to the park, played a lot outside, went to the zoo, and Keshia and I got away kid-free for an afternoon of shopping! We always spend our time together trying to figure out ways to move closer or how to spend all our weekends together! The kids played so great together as usual. Little Silas turns 1 next week and is all over the place! Connor loved telling him what to do the whole time and trying to pick him up :)

We miss them already!!
