2017 is here and so far we have been busy! Something about the beginning of a new year motivated us to start work on some home projects we've been wanting to do for a while. I'll do a post on them when we're all done next week. School has started back and we are getting back into our usual routine. We randomly had an ice storm this past weekend that kept us home for a few days. The boys enjoyed it! We had extra home time to work on stuff around the house and that included cutting the boys' hair. Connor's hair is finally growing and his little mullet needed a trim ;) We finally escaped the house Sunday and Derek took Colin to Monster Jam! This week is much warmer and we're glad to be out of the house more!
This guy sits here and helps me work on dinner most nights...snapping beans was a breeze for this little chef. We're still working on his egg breaking skills.

We got some sweet cuddles from these guys and loved every second! It's so rare now that Colin even sits still for 10 minutes, much less on our laps!
Monster JAM! It took him a few minutes to warm up, but loved it. He talked all about it when he got home. He now is sleeping with a monster truck toy, haha.

Hair cuts!! Connor did so good sitting still, we were surprised! Colin always does great as long as he can watch a video. Diggers or space ones win these days.
