Huntsville vaca

Last Thursday morning I packed the boys up and we went to visit my parents for a long weekend. Derek was on 4 nights, so I needed to get these loud boys out of the house so he could sleep. We had a great time and got in a lot of relaxing too! I went out to lunch with Linde to catch up (haven't seen her since my wedding!) and Doozie came by to see the kiddos. Not having to cook or clean for 4 days was amazing, not to mention having my laundry done for me and my car cleaned/vacuumed out ;) I do so love my parents and all the ways they help me!

Back up to last week, we had a work dinner on the mountain and this was the view from our table. Derek works with some great people!

Relaxing

My jogging buddy with his books! Little C already prefers the big boy stroller!

3 on 2 was a great ratio with these 2 :)

view at 430AM from the kitchen, made getting up to feed Connor a little more manageable!

Colin was in heaven at the neighborhood kiddie pool and watching the ducks on the lake. He is so into planes right now and we got to see a lot both pool mornings!!

Connor enjoyed the breeze too!

C loved being splashed!

Ta-Da! Splashing fool!

WEEEEEEE

Tough being 7 weeks :)

Papa brought out the roller coaster, it was a big hit!!

Rewind to last week, Connor started sleeping in his crib! Derek and I moved upstairs temporarily to be close to him. He had a few nights that were great and he slept a 5-6 hour stretch. Then a few nights where he was up a bunch. We'll get there!

So little in there! Big boy and his favorite-an apple :)

We got home Monday and both boys were super fussy and not eating. After an afternoon at the indoor play place, we got home and Colin starting vomiting at the kitchen table. Fast-forward a few hours and more throwing up, he had a temp and finally fell asleep. Out of curiosity, we checked Connor, and his temp was 102. Temps in babies under 8 weeks are bad news, but since Colin was sick, we knew it wasn't anything major. The next am, I took him to get checked out  at the pediatrician and he has an ear infection. Thanks big brother! Thankfully, he likes his medicine and has been a little perkier today. Good news is that our boys sure do sleep/snuggle well when they are sick. Minus Connor keeping us up the last 2 nights. Laying flat has not been his friend with this ear pain and cough. Thankfully Derek's off a lot this week to tag team. Colin is all better and went back to school today. He's in a big boy room and is sleeping on a cot for nap. Should be an interesting to hear how this goes....

Love this scrunchy nose baby!!
