This winter weather is getting old! They are predicting snow again this week..in March! I've never known it to snow or be this cold so close to my birthday. Germs seem to go away with spring, so we are ready! Colin's ear infection came back/never went away totally, so back on some killer antibiotics. Despite fever and clinginess, this round has been manageable. We had already made plans to meet our old neighbors in Chattanooga so we went ahead and went up Saturday.
My traveling bud. Unfortunately this nap only lasted 30 minutes. Thank goodness for Despicable Me 2 on the kindle! He gets serious about that movie!
Once we got there, Keshia and Alli joined us at the mall for dinner and fun at Barnes and Noble. Colin runs away constantly now in public, not even looking back, ha. He was to grown for the train table, so he went to the 'stage' to perform his dinosaur roars. It was cute watching him try to interact with the big kids there.
"Ohhh, Roarrrr"
Paul and Alicia came over to Keshia's house to catch up! We miss them!! Colin and Alli were on sleep strike, despite no naps, so that was fun...I dished out some Benadryl last minute (10pm) and he turned into a comedy show. Not exactly hyper, but walking around like a zombie running into everything. Definitely not sleepy :(
He enjoyed playing with Paul, he definitely remembered them!
Mad Zombie baby refusing to sleep ;)
One of these days I'll have a healthy travel baby :) He is such a fun boy no matter what, but traveling sure is tiring when he's not feeling good. It was good to catch up with everyone (sadly, my hands were too full to take a lot of pictures). Sunday morning we woke up and went to Cracker Barrel to eat with Dr. Moyer and Dawn! It's been too long since we've seen them! Dr. Moyer got Colin a big truck that he loves already and a car book! They both are just so sweet and good to Colin and I, I wish they lived in Birmingham!! We rushed home before nap and got unpacked. Cait's family brought dinner over last night and the kids played for a while. We miss them around here and Colin followed Eli everywhere again :)
Poor bud was more playful last night, but passed out in less than a minute on me before bed! Derek's off for a few days, and we're looking forward to some relaxing time together!
