The mountains

Why do weekends go by so fast!? This last one did and we had a fun one! Saturday we got up and went down the street for Graham's 1st birthday party. He is a walking pro and him and Colin play good together. He had a cute party!

Happy Birthday Graham!!

We ran home and hopped in the car to leave for the mountains! We haven't been to see Derek's family since the beginning of October, so we were long due for a trip. It was a cold weekend, but we stayed inside and played/ate/relaxed the whole time. It was wonderful!

Mukinzee came for the day Monday and they were cute together. She even shared her baby dolls :)

We got to visit with aunts, uncles, and cousins. Colin loved watching and following Colton around!

Saturday night we went to eat out with Papaw, Lena, Aunt Missy, and Hank! Wish I would have gotten a whole group shot! Colin thought Aunt Missy was so funny :)

Colin sure did get lots of love this weekend :) We did too, we were so stuffed from all the delicious food Mamaw made us!

After some Monday morning snow flurries, we packed up after Colin's nap and went to Chattanooga. Our intention was to stay downtown for the night and do the aquarium Tuesday....well, sleeping with Colin has proved time and time again to just not be possible. All of us had colds this weekend and were up coughing. At 5 Monday morning Derek and I just looked at each other and said lets just get home. Ha. One day we can share a hotel room with our feisty sleeper :) We did get to eat dinner at The Terminal (a favorite!) with the Petersons! I truly think these 2 remember each other each time. They have been around each other so much since each were born. It was so nice to catch up!

Such sweeties! Love them!

Colin went back to school yesterday and afterwards we went to Seth and Jess's for dinner. Always fun to hang with them and see Kirby too! Colin thinks he's so great, minus the one time he got scared when he got close :) He walked all over their house, jumped on the bed, and of course-climbed stairs a bunch. Today I took Colin to the library for story time. It was so packed and definitely overwhelming, but Colin eventually got into it and we'll be back! There is a story she tells, but then there is music and dance parts and puppets.

C's initial thoughts on the chaos :)

Then he was walking all around (even out to the hall...) and clapping/bouncing to the music

I love these days, so precious!!
