Long week

Since Derek was working last weekend, Colin and I went up to Huntsville for a visit.

 

Loves turning on the fan and his hair blowing :)

 

We got in Friday night and went to see Doozie and Nana Saturday morning. They had brought back some Blue Ridge presents for Colin. He has become a present-opening pro :)

 

He loves wrapping paper just as much!

 

Thank you Mamaw, Missy, and secret Santa! Colin loves his new presents!

 

After going back to Mimi's house for a nap, we dropped off Colin at Doozie and Nana's for a nice adult dinner :) This boy is full of energy and working so hard on his new tricks. He is very good at shaking his head 'no' and really understanding what it means (good and bad for us!) and walking more and more the last few days.

 

Hugs all around for stuffed animals! C was trying to drink the wax...it ended it complete frustration.

 

Finding new spots to hide in and crawl through...coffee table- check!

 

Sunday during C's nap, I had to go up to Chattanooga for a few days for old work business. It was not a pleasant trip, but that's life and sometimes we have to do hard things. It was a rainy trip. I got to see Keshia and Alli for dinner which was great!

 

One redeeming factor- my quiet, peaceful room for 2 nights. And Brewhaus to-go :)

 

What's more fun than being locked out of a building for an hour for the FBI to inspect a package for Anthrax...in the room you're meeting in...in the rain...than getting questioned by the newspaper about it. Haha

 

Colin stayed with my parents and had a blast I'm sure. I missed him like crazy though. Thanks 'rents!!Derek met them in Cullman to pic him up Monday after he got off work. I think they enjoyed having a little daddy/baby time before I got back Tuesday night.

Yesterday it was just us all day while Derek went back to work and he entertained me for sure :) Ready for this 3 day weekend with Derek and C!
