Family weekend!

I love long weekends! Especially when you only have fun plans and have caught up on cleaning, laundry, etc! Derek was off for 3 days and we stayed busy with fun things the whole time. Colin is at a great age for trying new places, everything amazes him...even if we have to live through him yelling in the car the way there and back :) We started Friday off by going to check out the McWayne Science Center downtown. It's been years since D and I have been. They had a variety of little kid activities and Colin loved it.

Water table was #1! I know what this little guy will be getting this summer for the back deck!

Bubbles! The fossil exhibit was a hit too.

A light-bright wall! #2 greatest thing that day.

After lunch at Newks, we came home for nap and just rested and were bums all evening. Saturday morning we woke up and felt like Cracker Barrel. So yummy and so close to our house now! We all ate too much! Then we went to pick up Finale's dresser :) So cute! Then it was back for nap and with 60 degree weather- park time!

He was a natural ;)

Big guy was so happy to be outside and played so hard!

Hair cut was next on the agenda. Per usual, he did great. He loved his sucker of course :) Unfortunately, the lady made his hair crazy so we had to fix it at home.

Looking so big with short hair!

Caitlin's family was in Hville all weekend, so we had date night Saturday night while Jamie came over to play with Colin. Mexican food +bowling = best date :)

Love being goofy with this guy! Derek even showed off my getting over 100 left handed!

Sunday we went to church and after nap got to go see B and Steve from college days. Its been at least 6 years since we've seen them! It was nice to catch up! Then we went to Seth and Jess's for dinner and play! Colin had to show them his walking! He's gotten faster now and probably did about 12 steps in a row there. Kirby showed off his walking skills too! We were very impressed, they are working hard with him on walking! Colin really loved laughing and pointing at Kirby when he barked this time...I'm sure Kirby was really thrilled by that ;)

Today Jess and I got to go shopping all morning and we both got some awesome home and sweater deals for the MLK holiday sale. Now Derek's sleeping for work tonight. Just 1 night then he's off 3 more days. Such a strange schedule, but glad for the extra time at the end of this month!
