Bye-bye 2017

Well we are well into 2018 now, but we've been busy playing with new toys and getting back into school routine to update! 2017 was a great year watching these boys grow bigger and so many fun travels. I'm excited to see what 2018 brings and instead of resolutions I have a few "goals" ;) Mostly, I want to simplify life and soak up these sweet days with these boys. Stay in our pjs all day, more storm trooper battles, eat too many cookies (you know, the important things to them). They are only little for such a short time. We have a lot planned for 2018 and I want to make fun memories! Here is what we've been up to the past week.

Lots of learning about our body!

4 year old well visit...80% in height and weight and hitting all his milestones!

Donuts are his love language :)

More Christmas toy fun! Eli's new trampoline is a huge hit.

Some tired, sick boys early this week. Momma got lots of cuddles (and snot).

Yay for Kinetic sand! They really wanted Santa to bring this!

New Years bash at Jess and Seth's!

They loved the little fireworks we did and screaming Happy New YEAR!

Poor Mer was sick this night and not feeling the best. The boys were pretty tired at this point too!

More Star Wars fun!

Daddy/son breakfast at Waffle House while I worked. Colin ate his whole waffle!!

Time hop that came up for today, last year :)

2015....I blame this shirt for the start of the Star Wars craze ;)

Daddy makes them cinnamon toast and Connor says daddy is his 'best' lol

More Christmas present fun!

Monster Jam this weekend...Connor's first year to go and he loved it (per usual, hated having his picture made)

Colin said that next year I just have to come see these trucks! I got to shop with this cutie instead and we found some great deals!

The boys are ready to leave the country (or go to jail?) Passport photo fail.

Magnetic tiles kept the family busy today...Derek and I may like these just as much as the kids do :)

We're all happy this past week school started. It's been too cold to go anywhere and they have been taking turns (me included) with illnesses all of break. Colin had been asking when he could go see his friends! Work has been crazy busy for Derek and I the past 2 weeks and hopefully things settle down a bit. Soccer starts back tomorrow which the boys are excited about and the weather is supposed to finally be over 40 degrees this week too!!
