Thanksgiving came and went so fast...it was a great trip and the boys were so awesome! Poor Connor was still a bit sick and grouchy getting there, but only 1 stop there was a pretty big win in my book! We stopped outside of ATL to eat lunch at Blue Willow Inn. Such good country food in a huge historic house. We went as kids when we traveled so it was fun to take the kids.
We made it to the house and the kids ran wild before bed!
Part of the crew for Thanksgiving lunch
My fav little Thanksgiving turkeys! We missed Derek being there with us!!
Most of the under 10 kids...there were so many kids (and people in general). Surprising they all got along well and no one broke anything in the houses!
Haha they were ALL done with pictures by this one, their faces all crack me up. Sweet smiling Louis was partially cut out. The only smiling kid :)
Horse carriage tour of downtown Charleston
It was a little chilly but it was so neat and the boys loved seeing all the horses around!
Sand loving boy...Mason and Colin rested together before we hit the beach!
Connor napped through the 1st beach trip...it was nice to have some time with my big guy. Of course he didn't think the water was too cold and got soaked, haha. They collected huge rocks and shark teeth and had a blast!
The kids were so proud of their shark teeth!
All the cousins met us out and they had planned a scavenger hunt...I think Mason was trying to look for a fish out there ;)
The morning scene....haha
Lots of pillow fights...we were just a few houses down from the playground which was super nice!
These beach babies are the best!
Bubbles, coffee, wine, and crab. It was a good evening :)
Ipad games for all!
Cousin Jenga round 2
These guys didn't take it too serious or anything...;) Eli joined a few rounds and did really good!
Dad rode back with us and we wore them out 1/2 way at McD's. We succeeded--both slept til we got home:)
Monday school soccer included daddy playing too :)
Date night out to see miss Isabelle! Stopped by to play with Pippa for a minute on the way back :)
These boys sure were happy to be with their daddy again!
Watermelon bucket hat! Colin told Holly he had to sleep in his shark so he could scare us in the morning, haha.
They seem to love their baby shark towels this week....ha.
