We had a great weekend to start off football season! It's out favorite time of the year...football, cooler weather, no allergies ;), the holidays coming up. The weather was great this weekend and we spent most of it outside!
Pepper Place Market Saturday morning! These boys were patient while we shopped and hung out, so donuts were a must!
We met up with mom, dad, Chelsea, and the kids. We ran into Seth and Jess too and found some good house stuff!
Saturday afternoon we went to cheer for UAB's first game back in 2 years. It's been 10 or 11 years since our last UAB game and it was fun to go back! The boys will love going this year, if we can find a game time when they aren't sleeping ;)
From 12 or 13 years ago??
From maybe 11 years ago?? Little babies :)
The sweaty crew. We moved at halftime to the more shaded half!
Church pic fail--these kids really dislike sun in their eyes ;) We are liking the church we've been visiting though.
The 4 boy cousin playing out back with Pawpaw and Belle
This cute girl was excited for 6 little playmates, ha
Celebrating Caitlin turning 31!!
These guys keep getting bigger!
Monday morning we dropped the boys off at Caitlin's for the day. Colin and Connor wanted to match all of us orange people, so Caitlin saved the day and found 2 more UT shirts for them :)
We met up with Terry and Donna in Atlanta and had a good lunch before going to the stadium for the pregame activities. All of us :)
Dad kicking and D throwing
Mom and Donna were good sports doing the obstacle course :)
Cait and Josh held down the fort in AL and Cait and K spent the night with the boys. They had a great time and prob didn't miss us at all!
I switched seats 1/2 way through the game and kept changing my mind on who I wanted to win...I felt pretty neutral and the game went back and forth the whole time.
Mom can barely stand live sports, much less staying for the 4th quarter. She wasn't happy, but she rode it out through 2 OTs. It was an exhausting game to watch! It may be an interesting season for both teams this year.
In the end UT won the game. GT definitely played better overall, but made some key mistakes than UT took advantage of. We walked back the hotel all feeling tired, ha. Tuesday we had a yummy breakfast and headed back home to pick up the boys! It was their first day back at school and they were happy to see us :)
