Last weekend we took the boys to Atlanta for the GT game. Colin has been excited about this for a while, Connor didn't remember much from last year, but he was excited for a trip too :) Doozie and Nana went with us Friday so we could have some fun at the Children's museum. The kids had a good time checking out a new kids place and after a little hotel rest we went down to Atlantic Station for dinner and shopping. We tailgated with our normal crew Saturday morning and made our way to the stadium with the band. The boys both really liked watching the band play! It was so hot. Normally the kids don't notice too often when it's hot, but Colin was asking in the 2nd quarter to drive home, and I didn't blame him! We made it to halftime and Connor was disappointed to leave, but we had enough of the sun, ha! The boys fell asleep before we got out of Atl. It was a fun trip and they both are ready to go back again!
Poor babe was worn out!
Riding in the big Ferris wheel!
Balloon swords were a hit....4 years ago the same weekend, Colin went to his 1st Tech game in my tummy :)
His "I'm dying in this heat, mom" face...they were troopers though!!
Popcorn picnic in the shade was a nice break!
We got home and were lazy bums watching football all evening. Silly boy working and bouncing :)
Sunday was mom's birthday and Chelsea's was the weekend before. They drove down and we all went out to lunch to celebrate. Twisted Root is always a good place for the kids to play while we watch and eat :) They had fun running wild and eating cupcakes and cookies!
Soccer practice Monday...they did great listening to the coaches and are getting the hang of some of the "drills"
This poor guy stayed home from school Mon and Tues with a fever and stomach ache. Him and Derek watched some movies together and relaxed. He was back to himself last night and was ready to go back to school today! Hope we can stay healthy through the rest of the week bc we have a fun trip to Blue Ridge planned this weekend!
