We have had a rainy, lazy week so far here. I'm finally getting around to posting about our weekend fun! Friday, once the boys woke up, we loaded up and went to Huntsville. Grandma and Aunt Beth were in town for one more day and Caitlin was stopping by on her way home from Kentucky (where she was helping her friend who just had quadruplets!). We had a day of fun with everyone and just hung out at mom's house. Once the boys were up we drove over to Doozie and Nana's house to play before bedtime!
Once the kids went to bed, Derek and I left for Nashville. Cole and Sheena moved to Nashville about a month ago and we were excited to visit their new place! They live in a great area, just a few miles from downtown and close to so many restaurants. Their area reminded me a lot of Chattanooga with so many bikers and dogs everywhere. We did so much Saturday...went to a great farmers market, went downtown to Brewfest, had lunch at a cool taco place, went to the pool for a bit, then went to a fancy dinner before we were all exhausted and in bed before 10 :) Sunday we had a great brunch right next to their apartment and hit the road to get back to our boys! We caught up with Andy and Frank while we were there too, it had been almost 10 years since we saw them! We had such a fun time and I can't wait til we get to go back again! The boys had some good grandparent time with both sides and we're so glad they kept them for us!
Everyone left around us when the storms came in. These goofy ones stayed in the water... Delicious dessert, we definitely ate good that trip!
Grandparent selfie :)
Colin was proud of his rocket he made at Papaw and Mimi's church class :)
We've been pretty lazy and haven't taken too many pictures lately...these boys are getting to fast! We did take Colin to his first movie Tuesday. He did a great job, but we did end up leaving about 1/2 way through. It was a pretty dark movie with sewers of snakes...I wasn't a fan either and Colin said he wanted to go to the store instead :) So we headed to Pottery Barn for a new backpack and went to lunch with our big guy. He's always up for an adventure, even if it's a run to the grocery store. He loves to be out! We have a week of nothing really, which is awesome! Lots of rain the next few days, which means lots of Olympics!!
The rain doesn't slow them down much :)
