Happy 4th of July! We have had a good week hanging out with friends and settling in the house. Pretty much everything is done except a few pictures to be hung! Eventually we'll get some dining room furniture, outdoor stuff, wall décor, etc...
Jessica's birthday was Wednesday, so naturally we celebrated with lunch at Surin :) YUM! One of everyone's favorites! We also got pedicures for the beach trip! Happy Birthday week Jess, hope 28 is a great year for you!
Tuesday's World Cup game...US lost :( we're still watching most of the games though! Cheering for Germany now.
Noah and Chelsea brought Mason over for a play date. The boys like to touch each other, Colin may be a slapper...? Mason is getting big and enjoyed Colin's exersaucer!
Well... the cats have won being indoors...while we are there. They stay in the basement at night and on the back porch (which they love) a lot while we're gone.
Thursday these awesome girls came to visit! It was nice to have some girl time and catch up, miss those girls!! We had a day of outlet shopping and lunch! Paul came to see Derek too.
Today we went downtown to hang out with Ross and Laura and went to a delicious pizza place! More World Cup spectating happened today too :) Along with some packing for our first family vacation! So excited to take Colin to the beach!!
Finally moving his arms to crawl instead of his head..haha. He gets tired fast though and gives up.
Finally this kid gets the sippy cup. He would only drink if we held it. Turns out he hates water and apple juice. We tried OJ tonight (after 50 tries with other things) and he didn't put it down. Thank goodness...he still fights his bottle and won't hold it, so glad he will do the sippy!
Derek sent me this picture today, it's from our last few days in Chattanooga. I have to say, I do see myself in his little face now more and more. Sorry Derek ;)
