Dadada

We have had a busy week! Derek's been on a busy week of night shift. I worked half days everyday this week and I am trying to get Colin and I packed for our trip tomorrow! We did fit in a few fun outings with friends. We also survived and night of bad storms. Derek had to work night shift so Colin and I set up in the basement. It hit Alabama much harder than our area :-( I hate that it hit the Patterson river house and new boat! At least everyone was safe and not injured.

 

Zoe sent me this pic today...She says Giz constantly sits with her when she's here. Poor girl is so sweet to that fatty,

 

Tomorrow Colin and I leave with my parents to go to Virginia for a family wedding. Nobody except for my grandma has met Colin yet, so it should be a fun trip! That is, if we survive the 8 hour drive up there, haha! I have so many toys and also Mickey Mouse shows on my kindle!

Derek taught Colin to shake his head no, it is hilarious! He also started saying dadada. It's pretty cute and I think Derek loves that :-) he mostly says it in the middle of the night when he gets mad that he flips over :-)

Trying on hats at the mall..it lasted .7 seconds before he ripped it off!

Colin join me on my haircut today since he fell asleep in the car before we got home :-) However when we got there he woke up. Thankfully he loves the sound of a hair dryer so he just looked around in his car seat the whole time!  We also got pieces of a bird on our car driving there when the old lady in front of us hit a bird with her side mirror :-(  Gross.

 

Such a trooper when Derek brought him to my work today to visit. Colin also helped with laundry today :) He loves to roll around in all the clean sheets!

 

Well that was a random post. Guess we had a random week :)
