Glorious sleep!

This lil nugget slept 10 hours straight the last 3 nights! Thank goodness, because I was dreading this week of Derek being on night shift! I'm hoping he starts liking sleep as much as I do! He goes to bed so easy now! He gets in some strange positions through the night and ends up sideways in the morning. Love that he wakes up happy now!

Watching him fall asleep on the monitor can be quite funny.

Outlet mall shopping this week was fun! We went with the resident wives and their kids. Colin did so good! I got him plaid shoes to celebrate. Although he kicked them off in 2.4 seconds ;)

This cutie weighed 15.12lbs (55%) and 25in (45%). Head was 44cm (89%).

Before shots pic. I'll spare you the post shots one :) It was quite pitiful, but we made it and he fell asleep right when we got home! Hoping he does better than the last round of shots!

Eli is 2!

What a week full of birthdays!! Yesterday Eli turned 2! That seems crazy to me. He is such a funny little guy and so sweet. We got lucky and saw him a lot this past year, hoping to see him more though after me move in June! I think Colin will be at a much better age to fly after this summer and Derek will have more off time! Caitlin kept the ice-cream breakfast tradition going!

He is just the cutest!

☆29☆

I got to spend my birthday in Birmingham this year! Most of it was spent at the hospital with family. It was a great day :) 29 isn't too scary, maybe 30 will be!

Birthdays are funner with babies!!

We shopped around Homewood and ended up buying a great table for behind the couch at the new house! This fabulous husband got me the cutest Ray-Bans for my birthday. Since I haven't got a picture with them, this is him in his. Such a looker :)

After a few more hours with my brother's little family, we went back to Jess's house. My parents got Tortugas pizza and brownies to celebrate. Yumm!

Saturday we went back to the hospital for a while and then headed downtown to have lunch with Ross, Laura, Graeme, and Morgan. By the time Colin got to Morgan he was so over the pictures, haha. Can't wait to move back closer to these guys!

Saturday afternoon we headed back to Jess's and hung out with them and Doozie and Nana. They were there to help with yard work. After a long day of work, we got dinner to go and had cookie cake!

It worked out great that I got to celebrate with so many family and friends! I'm a lucky lady!! 29 is going to be a great year :)

Mason Elias Andrews

Wednesday night we got the call that Mason was on his way! First thing Thursday morning I packed up and Colin and I hit the road. Derek had to work that day, but came right afterwards. I got there a few hours after the little guy was born. He is so precious and tiny! You forget so quickly how little they are at birth! Caitlin and Josh were skyping with them on Wednesday night when her water broke :)

He was born March 6th at 6:19am 7.2lbs and 20.5in long. Chelsea did awesome and had a pretty quick labor and delivery! It's so neat to see your siblings having babies. They were naturals and I'm so proud and excited for them!

The happy uncle and aunt! We skyped with Josh and Caitlin each day so they could see him too!! Wish they could have been there too! They will get to meet him this summer though!

We visited them at the hospital on and off Thursday-Saturday. They got to go home on Saturday night after Mason spent some time under Bili-lights for jaundice. He was a little trooper!

Thankfully Colin did pretty good for having to be in and out of a carseat and stroller all day! Sweet cousins. Such a size difference!

Seth and Jess were so sweet to host us for 3 nights! Can't wait to see this little man soon again :)

Lately

We've had a great 5 days off with Derek! Lots of walks, relaxing, and shopping! This little booger is now sleeping 830/9-5am! Then usually again until around 7! wahoo:) Also taking good naps in his crib during the day. Everyone in this house is in better moods!
