Such a WONDERFUL week~

Monday- we had 2 house showings! Colin and I strolled down the street for the 1st one, but then it rained so we sat in the car the 2nd one and took selfies :)
 

 

Tuesday- We went to Joanna's for lunch and had a repeat house showing! Joanna and Keshia's girls played and Colin was fussy with another cold-ugh. The Bjorn made another appearance while I cleaned up the house before the showing.

Wednesday- Went to brunch and the mall with Sarah and Henry!

 

 

Thursday- I went back to work and had a new babysitter. It was nice to see my work friends and have adult time. We sold our house!! So excited that we don't have to show the house anymore! Hopefully inspection next week goes well! Closing is Valentines day! This makes house shopping later this month much more fun! I also got a new computer-thanks Derek!

 

 

Friday- worked while Derek kept little man! Then we went to our fav place- the aquarium, haha. Colin slept most of the time, but Derek hadn't been in a few years so we enjoyed it! We went to The Terminal for dinner while our babysitter Erika kept little dude. Such a yummy place, we will miss it!!

 

 

This week Colin was very into napping on me in the strangest positions ;)

Friday we went back to the aquarium! This time Shanna and Owen joined us! We got a family pass the first trip. I'm sure we'll be there a lot until it warms up outside!

Saturday, we had a babysitter come keep Colin while we went to brunch and a movie. She is a really sweet UTC education student and Colin, thankfully, was super sweet while she was here. We will definitely be having her back over soon :)

 

We went to our favorite brunch at Blue Water and saw American Hustle. It's in the 50s outside this weekend...wahoo! Love date days with my hubby!

We had many calls this weekend about the house and some cars stop outside. Sunday we had a showing and had to leave the house. We went to have lunch at Dr. Moyer's house. She and her mom made a great Italian lunch for us and it was great to catch up! She's always taken such great care of me here in Chattanooga. I will miss her and HHCC so much this summer! I will be going in this week to do some chart audits and I'm excited to see everyone!

We have 2 more house showings tomorrow so I will be trying really hard to keep everything super clean...not easy with 2 furry cats and a baby ;)

 

Thankful for pretty sunrises when Colin decides to wake up extra early :)Even in the early morning hours I'm reminded how blessed I am!

Aquarium!

Well...it's been an interesting few days after shots ;) Little man was NOT a fan and his eating/sleeping was pretty messed up for a few days.
 

Wednesday we really needed a trip out of the house (had been a week inside), so we went to meet Emily for lunch. She was such a good NP student and just passed her boards! She's also due in 3 days!!

 

We had our first house showing on Wednesday afternoon. We spent most of Tuesday deep cleaning the house and getting it ready! Derek showed the house and the couple was very interested, but really wanted a formal dining room. It's nice that people are already interested; we have 2 more couples wanting to schedule a showing now too! Colin and I ran next door to visit while they came over.
 

Yesterday we got to meet friends at the aquarium! I love it and even though Colin has no idea what fish are, he sure does love riding in the stroller!

 Derek and I both think the penquins are the best..Colin agrees :)

It was our first real trip out with him in the stroller the whole time and he did great! Mostly he just looked at all the bright lights :)
 

I really needed a trip out of the house! Girl time is just good for me! They have such precious girls too! Everyone did so well and Keshia and I ate lunch out afterwards.

 

This little dude loves sucking on his fists now. All the time!

Today is Josh and Caitlin's 5 year anniversary! Love those crazy2!!

Twins!

We hear it all the time, so thought it would be fun to post some pictures of Derek and Colin as babies to compare. They look a lot alike to us too, which I love! A few people think he looks a little like me, mainly just his long skinny feet and toes :)

2 month checkup!

20 degrees today...Brrr! I hate cold so much and sadly we had to leave the house today for Colin's 2 month check up. It worked in Derek's favor last night, it was so slow at work because of the icy roads, he got off 2 hours early :) Hopefully he won't pay for it tonight!

 

We bundled up and headed out the door! He hates hats, but they are sooo cute!

 

They need to sell this table paper. Kids love the sound! Had to solo this appointment while Derek went to work.

Poor guy didn't see those 5 shots coming! He recovered quickly thankfully!

 

 

12 lbs and 22.5 inches long! 50% weight, 35% length, 90% head circumference. Gotta start stretching this kid out! Overall everything checked out good and we went up on our Zantac dose.

 Colin napping like a big kid this moning in his crib. He loves napping like this now, not ready to let him sleep at night like this yet...but we're close!

 

After Colin's appointment we came home and ever since poor buddy has been refusing to eat and been crying. So he is currently napping in his Bjorn :) I keep reminding myself the last few days that I will miss him wanting to snuggle one day! Hoping he sleeps ok tonight though! It will be 6 degrees tonight! This family will be staying indoors tomorrow!

For Sale!

We had a busy weekend! Doozie and Nana came up to help with house projects this weekend! I can't believe we are selling our first house! It's officially on the market now! I really need to read up on how to sell a house.

 

Unfortunately Derek got sick at work Friday night and Colin woke up sick Saturday vomiting. Derek was better Saturday afternoon and Colin slowly improved over the day, but was fussy and clingy. Thank goodness the grandparents came, we had to tag team cleaning and baby throughout the day!

 

The kitchen and bathroom got deep cleaned and took the most time! Doozie power washed the front and back outside and it made such a difference! Colin slept through it all and so did the cat children :)

 

 This boy got his fill of snuggles all day and Nana made my month by keeping him last night...I slept almost 11 hours! I can't wait until this dude sleeps all night!

Thankfully he has been a little better today and is currently even napping in his crib, wahoo! Tomorrow is suppose to snow and get down to 4 degrees at night! Hope we can still make it to Colin's 2 month doc appointment. Chattanoogans act wacko with weather like this, so I'm sure Derek will be plenty busy at work the next 2 nights!

New Year!

What a year we have ahead of us! We started the year off by putting our house for sale....bittersweet! We are listing it ourselves for the next 2 months. Hoping we find someone who will want to move in around May or June. It will be tricky to move out of here and move in to our next house around the same time frame! We are going later this month to look at Birmingham homes.

 

We had our first snow of the year too! It wasn't much, but it was pretty falling last night! Hate it for Colin though, this means it's way too cold to stroll outside! We'll have to head to the mall in the next few days so we can go walking!

Derek starts back to work today too :( We got too spoiled last month! 6 more months until he's done with residency though! That's not too long of a countdown ;)
