1st beach trip of 2018!

It's safe to say that if you ask anyone in this house where they want to go for a trip, the answer is immediately "THE BEACH". The kids have been asking to go since December when we went to Daytona for the day. Honestly, Derek and I were more than ready to get back too! We were so excited last week to see that the weather would be warm for the weekend. We packed the night before and didn't even book a place, haha. We had the best time digging, swimming, and eating great food. The kids were even phased by the cold water and the beach was pretty empty! We are ready to go back already!

Lunch at the Gulf!

Happy boys!!

Love these 3 :)

Letting the waves get him

Chase with daddy is a big favorite :)

Boys got the hang of the lazy river

Finished the trip off Sunday morning with some Star Wars drawings, haha!

We were all a bit tired getting back Sunday night, so we skipped school Mon and went to the zoo.

All the animals were out and showing off for us! Perfect way to end the long weekend of fun :)

Petersons, bowling, and Valentines!

Holidays are so fun with these big boys! Colin remembers them from last year and gets excited about it days ahead. We celebrated Valentines this week and they have sooo much candy. We had a fun weekend with the Petersons' too while Derek worked. Looking forward to having Derek home the next 6 days and I know he's ready for a break. Here's what we've been up to!

Connor has NOT been happy with daddy working so much lately! He definitely lets me know when he needs him...He also got his hair cut and looks way to grown up now!

Fun morning with Marjorie and her boys shopping and going down to the neighborhood creek

Our best buds came and we took advantage of the beautiful weather

New bubble machines make these boys SO happy!

We've been into the Olympics and the kids put socks on to 'skate' around the house! They have also been into their Kindle games at night :)

First time bowling!!

They were too cute and loved it! Connor especially...he could have bowled all day and both were dedicated to carrying their own 6lb ball around on their own.

Too much sticker fun!!

They love being all trapped together :)

Valentines from daddy...he's too good to all of us :)

Love my little Valentines :)

They were so excited to pick out flowers for their teachers!

Colin's night was made getting to make a heart cake. He loves watching this one video of someone making a pumpkin cake on the Kindle so I figured he would love this!

I mean...not too bad for their first cake to decorate ;)
